Valakran III

Valakran III: Hive World

Dominated by two Hive Cities, and seat of the solar government. Homeworld of the Valakrani 7th Imperial Guard regiment.

The Tyrant of Valakran: A CHARACTER unit of your choice may gain an additional 1 XP after a battle. This character does not have to have participated in the battle. If that CHARACTER is given a Battle Honour before your next game, you may re-roll the D6 to determine which modification that unit earns.

Once a barren dead world, concealing an artefact known as the "Celestus." Destroyed during the Valakrani conflict.

Long ago, a failed terraforming project. Now, one massive Hive City supporting a Manufactorum.

Preliminary Bombardment: At the start of the battle, before the first Player Turn, choose up to 3 enemy units on the battlefield and roll 1D3. On a roll of a 2+, that unit suffers that many Mortal Wounds. In team games, only one Preliminary Bombardment may be made.

Valakran VI: Dead World

Stripped of resources, littered with abandoned mining sites.

Portable Hyperdeflectors: At the start of the battle, place a Fortified token next to two friendly non-VEHICLE, non-MONSTER units. As long as that unit remains stationary, it gains the Benefit of Cover for the duration of the first Battle Round.

Valakran VII

Valakran VII: Death World

Inhabited by large, aggressive lifeforms with rock-like hides. Planet occasionally causes Warp interference for astropaths. Source of interference has never been identified.

Psychic Shadows: After both players have finished Deployment, roll 1D3. You may redeploy up to that many friendly units, including placing those units into Reserves. This cannot cause you to exceed the normal reserve limits.
